There are five brass faculty at UNC Pembroke. Dr. Tim Altman and Dr. Aaron Vandermeer teach trumpet, Ms. Alex Williams teaches horn, and Mr. Cameron Collar and Dr. Joanna Hersey teach trombone, euphonium and tuba. These faculty members are active performers and clinicians both here in North Carolina and across the world, and are proud to call 51³Ô¹ÏÍø home. Our five brass faculty make up the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Faculty Brass Quintet, teach student majors, and coach student groups including the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Trumpet Ensemble, the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Tuba Euphonium Ensemble, and other brass chamber music ensembles.
