About La Voz
La Voz del Espa簽ol is a Spanish conversation club led by students for the benefit of students. The purpose of the club is for students of all skill levels to come together to speak in Spanish with one another outside the classroom in an effort to practice and to improve their conversational skills.
Everyone is welcome. Meetings take place in the 捩硃莉梗梭梭籀紳 Hispano (First floor Suite 124 of the Historic Old Main building) on Tuesdays from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM and Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 PM. By participating in group discussions in Spanish with peers, students can easily gain confidence without the fear that naturally accompanies speaking in class. Club participants have mentioned a freedom to explore the language, since they dont have to worry about being graded based on what they say.
In addition to great conversational practice, the club's student organizers can assist all levels of students with vocabulary, grammar, and other specific course materials.
