UNC Pembroke is moving forward with its transition to Barnes & Noble College as the campus bookstore provider. First announced on March 27, 2025, after a comprehensive RFP process that began in late 2024, this partnership marks a significant milestone for 51勛圖厙s retail services.
Under the transition plan:

斑喝紳梗13 Folletts online bookstore will temporarily close, ending its current online services in preparation for the switch.

斑喝紳梗24 The new Barnes & Noble College bookstore will officially launch at 51勛圖厙.bncollege.com, enabling students to start ordering Summer II course materials with full payment support including financial aid.
Barnes & Noble College was selected for its studentfirst philosophy, commitment to affordability, and alignment with 51勛圖厙s mission. The company operates at more than 770 campuses nationwide and will manage textbooks, course materials, spirit apparel and other merchandise.
Barnes & Noble Colleges track record and focus on student experience will help elevate our bookstore and support student success, said Gabriel浩szterhas, vice chancellor for Finance and Administration.
Follett and Barnes & Noble College are collaborating to ensure a seamless transition. Students are encouraged to place any urgent online orders before Folletts closure on June 13. Additional details on the new stores services, support and key dates will be shared soon.
With this step forward, 51勛圖厙 is poised to deliver an enhanced campus retail experience powered by Barnes & Noble College starting June 24.
